Dave has more than three decades of experience in financial reporting and technical compliance issues, both as the audit partner on his client engagements and as the quality control reviewer responsible for reviewing the performance of other audit partners.

He is past president of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and received its Professional Service Award for excellence in the industry in 1999. An authority on accounting and auditing matters, Dave also possesses extensive knowledge of auditing automation technology. His areas of expertise include high technology, manufacturing, not-for-profit entities and construction. In addition, Dave was controller at a regional leasing company. Dave has served as an accounting expert in a number of litigation support engagements, including accountant's malpractice and calculation of damages.

Dave is a former member of the Council (the governing body) of American Institute of Public Accountants and has served on the AICPA SEC Practice Section Peer Review Committee and on the Peer Review Board.

As a member of the Massachusetts Society of Pubic Accountants he has served in numerous roles including: President, Vice President, Chairman of the Finance Committee, member and Chairman of the Peer Review Executive Committee.
